FULFILLMENT POLICY

1. Non-Refundable Deposits:

Deposits for services such as SEO, website development, IT support, or any other services offered by Slate Tech are non-refundable. If a service agreement includes a long-term commitment, such as a 12-month SEO plan, cancellations must be requested within 48 hours of purchase to receive a full refund. After 48 hours, a prorated refund for any remaining months may be offered depending on the service agreement terms.

2. Service Completion & Payment Terms:

Project-Based Services: The balance for all project-based services (e.g., website development) must be paid within 15 days from the date the invoice is issued upon project completion. If the project is canceled after work has begun, the client will be responsible for paying a percentage of the total project fee, based on the work completed up to the point of cancellation:

  • 30% of the total project fee if canceled while in progress.
  • 70% of the total project fee if the initial design or deliverable has been provided.
  • 100% of the total project fee if the project has been completed or 30 days have passed since the design deliverable was submitted.

3. Hosting Packages:

Hosting packages are refundable for up to 30 days from the date of payment. After 30 days, no refunds will be issued. If the hosting service includes additional products (e.g., free domain registration), the value of these products will be deducted from the refund amount if the main hosting package is canceled.

4. IT Support and Website Maintenance Packages:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: For monthly IT support or website maintenance packages, refunds will not be issued if any service has been performed during the billing period. If no service has been performed, you may cancel within 30 days of payment for a full refund.
  • Annual Subscriptions: Annual IT support or website maintenance packages are refundable within 30 days of payment if no service has been performed. If service has been performed, the unused portion of the subscription will be prorated and refunded at 50% of the remaining value.
  • One-Time Services: If a one-time IT support or maintenance service has been performed, it is non-refundable.

5. Digital Products and Consulting Services:

Digital products, consulting, and strategy sessions are non-refundable once delivered. If a digital product includes a bundled service, the terms for service cancellation will apply as outlined above.

6. Website Care and Marketing Services:

Website care or marketing services that are part of a package plan are non-refundable if used during the billing period. If you cancel within 30 days and no service has been used, you will receive a full refund. If the plan is bundled with other services and the website design or care services have been performed, the plan is non-refundable after 30 days of purchase.

7. Cancellation of Service Agreements:

All cancellations must be requested in writing via email. Upon receiving your cancellation request, Slate Tech will review the status of the service and confirm eligibility for a refund based on the terms outlined above.

8. Product-Specific Refunds and Conditions:

  • Domains: If a product includes a free domain and is canceled, the cost of the domain will be deducted from any refund.
  • Other Digital Products: Certain products such as SSL certificates, domain renewals, and other digital licenses may have their own specific refund policies, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.
